The angle of clubface at impact is the most important element in hitting a straight shot. The “thumbs up” drill is a great way to gain awareness in this area. Take half swings waist high. At the waist high position, observe if your thumbs are pointing upwards on the backswing and the same on the through swing. As your thumbs are rotating in this matter so is your clubface.
